Greetings Stemmers,
The Main Stem turned five years old on Saturday 21st March, 2026. Happy Birthday to me. Thanks for tuning in and here’s to many more rotations around the blogosphere. I write this note from Budapest; where I was hoping to take some photographs for a new post. Sadly my plans fell through but when one door closes another one opens - and I landed myself a cheap fan-made Fahey t-shirt on eBay instead. A birthday present from the blogoverse, maybe. Celebrating briefly here with dancing turtles as drawn by Heinrich Kley - adapted and featured on the Grateful Dead’s 1977 album ‘Terrapin Station’ and adapted again for the artwork on the Fahey t-shirt.
