Saturday 09th - Kick Stand
- Rode from makkum to drachten, horrible head winds.
- Got a kick stand eat me. They said it couldn’t be done. This is to all of those who didn’t believe in me… I forgive you!
- Second half was much nicer, solid riding. Punched down the km’s.
- Groningen nice, beers good, ate chinese food.
- Hostel Rebel Rebel.... Indeed very cowboy. aaron, niko, the rest at 430am, sex in the next bed. Would not recommend 0/10
Gloria one and two.
End of a long and uneventful day riding, we got to merciful Groningen. What a place! Not far from the Dutch / German border now too. Jake stands in the main square, Grote Markt, in front of Martinitoren, the pride of Groningen.

Hostel Rebel Rebel. The only place in Groningen that wasn't fully booked and probably for good reason. It was out in an industrial yard, flanked by electronic music festivals. This was not a tarp-for-two, the sounds of mother nature, and my misshapen thermarest mattress. I could barely here Jake's dance with sleep apnea death over the sounds of our cohabiters talking about themselves or fornicating.
